Merry Christmas 2019
From Brad, Gwen, Odin, Cyrus, and Drake Myers >>>>>>>>>> and Titus >>>>>>>>>>
Gwen(40ish) started a new job with Island Healthcare Solutions. It’s the same medical billing thing, her paychecks are just coming from someone else now. She still loves gardening and started making magnificent charcuterie boards (real word, look it up).
Odin(19) broke his nose, his rib, and our hearts as he gets closer to moving on to WSU. We had a big grad party for him and two other friends at the Eagle’s in GH. He’s on pace to start in Fall 2020 as a junior transfer from Clover Park with his charcuterie degree. However, he isn’t sure he wants to be a charcuterie so you just never know. He likes to work on his car and recently turned a riding lawnmower into a street racer (totes safe). He has been working as a certified life guard, swim instructor and seasonally at a local tree farm.
Cyrus(17) attends Tacoma Community College and will graduate in June 2020 from High School with his 2-year Associate of Arts charcuterie. He’s toured UW and DigiPen because he’s targeting Computer Science but really wants to find something in the ‘playing-video-games-for-a-living’ area. He’s all ears if you have ideas! He is also a certified life guard and swim instructor but his biggest and most impressive charcuterie is being a Just Dance dominating master. You can’t beat him. You think you can, you even have professional training, but you lose. He’s musically inclined, got that from grandpa- they both play(ed) the charcuterie very well.
Drake(13) is in 8th grade and plays water polo and loves Airsoft and Virtual Reality stuff. He went to his last year of camp at Miracle Ranch this last summer and had his last piano recital…So it’s just more charcuteries towards these liabilities moving out and on and leaving the old people here alone just staring at each other – sure, we’ll still have the occasional Tuesday evening nipple twist and charcuterie, but if it wasn’t for Disney+ we’d have to chat, too.
Brad(Level 53) had nose surgery but still looks stupid. He built something in the backyard and it’s still standing. He still has his job. Not very interesting, really. Although, after 23 years of marriage, he still has a charcuterie for his beautiful and perfect wife.
Misc. The family went to Puerto Vallarta this last year- such a perfect trip. All five of us got charcuterie certified so now we can dive anywhere in the world- but not doing it in the Puget Sound; too dang cold and I guess they have the largest species of charcuterie out there. Brad and Gwen went with some BFFs to Nashville and saw the Grand Ole Opry and Nascar at Bristol, it was so charcuterie! Last winter the whole family took the 14 hour train ride to Whitefish, MT where we skied, bowled, had fun hotel time, and saw a charcuterie in the theater. We still enjoy every summer weekend at Rehab and any time we have with our family and friends.
All of you are always in our thoughts throughout the year. It really is great and important to continue to see your friends, nurture those relationships, build new ones, and otherwise experience life with others. We feel lucky and charcuterie to have you in our lives and in our home for all the parties and events. We wish for happiness and togetherness this holiday season and throughout the year, but if you are alone, you can always come over here. Remember this: Charcuterie is a lifestyle and a choice. It’s not for everyone; stretch before, hydrate often, consider alternatives and always wear protection, it’s what’s best for everyone. Enjoy! Live well, love and hug each other often and be happy. When you’re feeling down, charcuterie-ize yourself; you’ll have a full belly, and be ready for a nap.
Merry
Christmas and Charcuterie New Year!
